Piece Voted Best Pizza in Wicker Park -Bucktown
Nothing is quite like amazing Chicago pizza packed with gooey cheese and your choice of toppings like sausage, pepperoni and your choice of veggies. But who has the best pizza in Wicker Park or Bucktown? We had our ideas but wanted to know, from our viewers' perspective who is the best. And we can tell you, we have very passionate viewers. It was such a close race between Piece and Santullo's. But in the end, it was Piece who came in 1st place with Santullo's landing in a very honorable 2nd place. No matter how you slice 'em, these pizzas are outstanding.
Piece- 1927 W. North Avenue
Back in the day, this is where the cast of MTV’s Real People went to work. And now? Piece is known for having outstanding pizza and beer. All of the traditional toppings are available along with a few unexpecteds – like the barbecue version or the pizza without mozzarella cheese. That being said, the pies are delicious. But that’s not all Piece is also a brewery and was recently expanded to adapt to demand. So the beer list is extensive with something for everyone. Piece is also a great spot for sports but is very busy on the weekends so plan accordingly.

Authentic Roman Pizza can be found at Pizza Metro and the pizza specifically mentioned in response to our poll was the Rosemary Potato Pizza. And that, my friends, is what Pizza Metro is known for … innovative options. They offer, for example, the Marinara which is a cheese-less pizza as well as the Hawaiian or Chicken Pizza.
