The Art of Chicken is a casual counter-service spot that combines grilled chicken with an artistic ambiance provided by artist Sam Kirk. Sam designed the restaurant which combines exposed brick with vibrant color, murals and front windows that are a little like a chicken coop. The art tells the story of a family of chickens; city chickens and country chickens coming together.

The food features primarily chicken dishes with Latin influences and recipes created by owner, Christian Moreno's, family.

Bucktown's newest eatery is scheduled to open the first week of March 2013.
