One of the newer additions to Wicker Park, this gourmet deli and bakery offers a variety of baked goods (like their pretzel bread), pastas, sandwiches and prepared entrees like lasagna and quiche. The sandwiches are incredible and the atmosphere feels a little like a French cafe in the middle of a very urban environment.
In the warmer months, you can sit on the outdoor patio.

Love love love Wicker Basket Cafe. It's just a counter service spot but the sandwiches are delicious and will NOT break the bank. Gourmet sandwiches..soups...salads and more.
