5 Ways To Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Wicker Park, Bucktown

Sure you can head to any bar and celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Chicago. But here are a few ideas if you'd like to try something a little different. You'll find an Irish-inspired menu all week long at Birchwood Kitchen, traditional Kegs & Eggs at Division Ale House and High Noon Saloon and The Beer Nuts wild show, once again, at Double Door.
Birchwood Kitchen - 2211 W. North Avenue
Birchwood Kitchen is celebrating St. Patrick's Day with an Irish-inspired Brunch and Weekday Special Saturday, March 14 - Friday, March 20 -- and the patio is open.
During brunch service on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15, the Wicker Park restaurant will offer Irish Soda Bread, Bubble and Squeak, Corned Beef and Cabbage Hash, and Ricotta Pancakes with Guinness creme anglaise.
From Tuesday, March 17 to Friday, March 20, Chef Williams will feature a Corned Beef Sandwich with braised cabbage on rye bread. The menus are detailed below. Be sure to bring your Irish brews, whiskey and wine, as Birchwood Kitchen is BYOB.
Operating hours are Tuesday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Division Ale House - 1942 W. Division Street
Kegs & Eggs brunch, a special holiday menu and expanded hoursChef Wally Rouse offers a special menu, including Ale House bestsellers and Irish-inspired dishes, in lieu of the regular menus on March 14 and March 17. You'll find everything from Smoked Brisket Chili to Irish Stew. The a la carte menu will be offered from 11 a.m.-midnight on March 14 and 17 and the bar is open from 8 a.m.-3 a.m. March 14 and 11 a.m.-2 a.m. March 17.
Double Door - 1572 N. Milwaukee Avenue
The Beer Nuts head back to Double Door on St. Patrick's Day for the wildest show in Chicago. Keep the kids at home and work out that stomach because this show is not for the weak. If you're looking for fun...and raunchy, this bash is for you. The line-up includes: Hamburglars, Johnny Vomit and and Squared Off. Doors at 8:00pm. Show at 8:30pm. $10
High Noon Saloon - 1560 N. Milwaukee Avenue
St. Patrick’s Day Kegs & Eggs Brunch at High Noon Saloon
High Noon Saloon opens two hours hour early (9 a.m.) on March 14 and features a $25 Kegs & Eggs meal package from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The meal package includes breakfast and five drink tickets valid for green domestic draft beers or classic mimosas. The breakfast entrée includes eggs, applewood-smoked bacon, chorizo, roasted potatoes and toast. In lieu of the regular Saturday specials, the saloon offers all-day deals such as $6 Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey shots, $6 Guinness stout drafts and $4 green domestic draft beers. The bar is open from 9 a.m.-3 a.m.on March 14 and the kitchen is open until midnight.
Link's Taproom - 1559 N. Milwaukee Avenue
On Tuesday March 17th, Links Taproom is skipping the green beer this year and tapping some delicious stouts instead. Accompanied with some delicious themed beer, Links Taproom is featuring their Reuben Caught Stealing Link, A Corn Beef Swiss Link, topped with Bacon Braised Cabbage, and 1000 Island Dressing!
